Shawnigan Lake Bahá'í Summer School - Thursday, 31 July, 1997

The picturesque backdrop of the lakefront setting of the school is enjoyed while canoeing upon the still waters of the lake by Sandy Slobodian during a brief respite from the pressures of organizational responsibilities.

Soapstone carving and the scheduled sessions with John McLaughlin, Danesh Shams, Leanne and Ed Epp continued throughout the day.

The audience at the final presentation of the day was mesmerized by the performance on the life of Tahirih, by Deborah Chicurel Conow.
