By Friday only tiny scraps of soapstone were left for carving. Hundreds of pieces of randomly shaped and precut forms were transformed into somtimes astounding works of art. Uncountable artist hours of time went into the effort.

The scheduled sessions with John McLaughlin, Danesh Shams, Leanne and Ed Epp wound up during the last day of classes.

Friday was spent at dress rehersal for the evening performances.

A few young people managed to have a lot of fun with a motorized inflatable boat provided by one of the parents.


A tasty outdoor barbeque provided the Friday evening meal on the grass by the lake.
